Wow been sometime, quick updates. Term ended think I got an A on my class, at the moment in Tallahassee FL working for the next month. Although I'll be traveling on the weekends back home, but who really knows.

Got the wii fit, awesome device been doing the exercises the first week and my legs got a bit of pain. Guess I'm really out of pain, well I'll elaborate more later back to work for me.

Life as a consultant...

Wow can't believe I haven't kept this up to date. Well a brief summary from the last time I wrote here.

My first semester back at school sucked, can't believe I got a 74 on my final exam. Should I go and talk to my professor or keep that B I got an use it to fuel my classes to get A's? I'm going for the second option at the moment... Well new semester started last month and well taking a course in Artificial Intelligence, quite interesting although it'll be a theoretic approach to the class. :( hoped to do some project for the course and learn how to develop AI stuff, guess I'll have to do it on my own. Which I've started, currently reading about Python which I've seen it's getting quite popular and so far I like the language. Has a few concepts that blew me away, can't think of a language that manipulates imaginary numbers as easy as Python and the ease of manipulating lists and arrays is quite interesting. So far so good with that language I hope to use it more and more.

So, today I officially turn in my week notice... Got an offer to do some consulting in SQA and gonna try how that thing goes. So I'm quite nervous in all respects, since it's contract type work. But, I see it as an opportunity to grow as a professional and mostly a person. I'll be looking at another way this industry works and at what a lot of people at podcast have been talking about as a consultant. So naturally something new quite scares me... but life is for those that take risks right, no other way to learn if a decision was a good one or not until we make it. But for now I'm looking forward to this and see it with my own eyes and decide if this is what I really want.

Woohoo... my girlfriend is coming Thursday and will stay for the weekend, I'm thrilled to actually see her. She's been a good company so far and very supportive, can't ask for more than that I guess. So now it's just time to see when I'll do that other crazy thing... ;-)

Keep it real people and don't put any type of excuse to see those people that matter in our lives!

Well, this title is a little better... The others I thought of using were Good bye friends, but that sounded to harsh or see ya later pal. But I got one sad sad announcement and one less sad announcement.

My 8 years old headphones are dying, the left earphone is starting to fail and only works when the cable put in one way. Anyways it just sucks some of the best $20 headphones ever, gonna have to start using one of the iPod pairs I got.

The saddest announcement is that a childhood friend of mine died last week, was hard seeing him all still and peaceful. Remember some of the times while in high school and man that sucked looking him like that, still not making a joke or anything. What still haunts me and I guess it will for sometime is, how I postponed time to go and say hello to him. Last I saw him was like 8 years or so ago, like right after I started college. Then I went about my business and ordeals and came back saw his mom and said I'll go sometime to talk to him. Guess what I can tell you all sorts of bullshit on why I didn't go to see him, and never went.

I was going to and wanted to talk about this in more detail last friday, but decided to take it easy and think about it. But one thing I hope not to do again, is to never postpone seeing a friend.

What are they, really? The moment to just celebrate a birthday? or to celebrate their wedding? or to really maintain them throughout our lives? Do our personal lives really drive us away from those people we met in the past? Being work, school, or whatever we are doing. Can we really put other things before friendship, other than family nothing is more important than family...

How much does it takes to just say "Hey how's it going?, what are you up to?, how are so an so?" I for one think it doesn't take much to just ask what are people up to, but at the same time I think others do think it takes too much. Up to some point I try to not keep in touch with some people, but my personal feelings and the way I just am don't let me do that. I like to keep in touch with my friends, hell I keep in touch with them more than my family. But I like to think and I think that my friends are my family!

Will finish with one request, this happened last night, it was my ex's birthday and no I did not forget. I mean could anyone really forget a birthday of someone they loved for 6 years? Could such a thing be possible even if something horrible happened between both, could such a thing really happen? This is what she wrote to me for the first time in what it's like 6 month,

Software Developer as easy as 1-2-3

So, I'm making my rounds looking for stuff to read this morning and ever since we've been given .Net training at work I've been going to MSDN Home Page. Just to look at around and see what's new with .Net, tried to hold on learning .Net but guess I couldn't hold my ground more. Anyways, this shows what I've been saying and kinda puts down the Software industry at least for me. Check this page, a quote from the page

If I knew it would be this easy to be called a Software Developer I wouldn't have gone to college and spend all that time studying. Could it be I'm a bit disgruntled at this particular time? Could this be true Software Developer == Code Monkey in lay mans term?

The one thing that actually sucks is how much companies have invested in M$ that their technology is needed and how they are creating the names of jobs positions now a days. For example, yesterday I was having a conversation with a co-worker and it stunned me how he asked "So are you just studying for the heck of it or because you can find work with whatever you are studying?" This question kinda bugged me last night when I remembered it, I mean do I have to learn only M$ technologies everything else is just plainly garbage. This fella has been a M$ junkie for about 2 years now, well since I started working here. It annoyed me that I kept thinking of that conversation and looking at ways to answer or even validate my decision to study whatever I want to study. Still trying to keep that thought of whatever I like to learn is my business and no one else.

Well sad times because my brother and niece just left, they came to visit unexpectedly well not for me since I new of the visit. But it was a surprise visit for my parents, this past Saturday was my dad's birthday and we had a blast. Lots of families and friends came to visit. Also we went to the beach yesterday and it was awesome, lots of fun times there with the family. :-D But they had to go back today, my brother still needs to finish a few things for his PhD studies and then time for him to go to work. Cool isn't?!

Well today I find if I drop the class I'm taking, the professor sent an email yesterday with a bonus for our 3rd take home work. Apparently we are failing the class somehow, could it be the uncertainty the professor has shown in not explaining the types of analysis he asks for. Or could it be his unwillingness in answering some of our questions, I mean I was about to call him incompetent one time in an email conversation we had. If you see this 0 * log (0) without any type of explanation the answer to this is error, log(0) yields error no mater what. Well said that anything multiplied by 0 is 0, which to my understanding is wrong error can't be multiplied by anything since it's something wrong that has yielded. It wasn't until he sent me the explanation of the formula we were using that it has been stated that when you see 0 * log (0) = 0, that is the only way when you can say that log(0) =0 is when it has been stated. He said from day 1 that the course would have a hands-on approach, yeah fucking right...

Anyways, from past experience if I see I'll be failing this course I'll just drop it. Nothing good will come-out if I try to keep doing this and not learn much from this course. What it'll hurt is that I'm paying for this classes out of my pocket, and it's a lot of money to waste away. Guess I'm dumb, I should've taken a course that was a necessary for my studies and not a special topics class. And I thought I had learn from my first time going through this Master's Studies. Buuu for me!

Money, fucking Money...

Who the hell thought of this thing called money and worst yet who made it that we depend on it so fucking much?

Here is my small rant...

Well the best thing at the moment, I'm starting a new relationship some of you guys met her. And she is wonderful and awesome! The only bad thing at the moment is that she is in Venezuela, so yes a long distance relationship for the moment still. ;)

So looking at airfares so that we can see each other on a more regular basis, well first thought lets find cheap fares and fly there. Well not so cheap, at least for the moment, the cheapest for me was Miami but for her would be around $780. And this is only the airfare, so we check the Dominican Republic about $500 each, also Aruba about $500 each. So what's cheap about all this nothing. And we aren't adding hotels and food, which should make the trip like what a little over $1k each. Fuck this is too much!

But thank god one of us is smart, and it's not me, she tells me it'll be cheaper if you fly to Vzla or I fly to PR. Only 1 flight ticket and we can stay at each others place so no hotel. And we help each other with the fare, so a $500 fare goes down to a $350 fare and no hotel and less money on food. This is the best plan for now as far as seeing each other on a more regular basis, YAY!

Well, I also need to add that I want my own apartment. I mean a $25k as down payment is good, I can get an apartment and just pay over $800 or so a month for it. So I need to act fast before all the money the government is giving away runs dry. Another thing that's coming to hurt my bank account is the damn car insurance, that'll blow donkey balls. And all the toys I want media center, wii games, digital camara. Shit I need to get a better paying job or go to the 18th stop in Santurce and see if I can sell myself. Oh, almost forgot school I have registration this week and that's another $800 at least.

Anyways, back to work for me I think. Thanks for reading incoherent posts like mine.

Take your time reading the comments from this post on /., I haven't read the article where all this started from but from what I understand from some comments it's kinda of useless really. Apparently it's the president and vice-president of AdaCore bashing Java. Well, this isn't about that article but about the comments left on /. about that article.

To my friends that I want to see succeed and become more than just code monkeys, take a look at this comments and do some training like they say. We all ready have the basics which they talk about, we just need to go back do some review and then look at what's next. I know I know, that the job market looks for some things specific. But ask yourself or your next interviewer what it'll happen to those nich markets when something better comes along. Will they go out and look for someone else, spend tons of money to train those code monkeys on what's new or hire you because it's quite easy for you to understand and grasp the knowledge and concepts of what's new? This my friends where I wish to be and will start working to get there.

Like some comments state, all the tools out there are useful. It just depends where you need to use them,

a quote: "if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail".

I like this quote very much, lets not only have a hammer as out tool(s).

So, lately I've been looking for some information regarding different topics. This is my first in lots of posts about some kind of information I'm looking for that I usually save over in Google Docs, talk about being distracted.

If you are looking for a wireless keyboard for your Wii, I was able to find this site. I'm probably gonna get myself this one, going to take a look at CompUsa everything has to go sale. No wonder they are going to close, check theri price on the previous keyboard I linked and CompUsa price. Also gonna take a look at buying my first digital camera, since I've never had a picture one just video.

Well it's been quite some time since I last wrote, between slacking off and trying to do my school work and spending time chatting with a girl I've been meeting. No time write here... On the job front it's been bad I'd have to say no luck so far, that one interview I had I thought it went well but I guess it didn't. Now three weeks since the interview and no words from them sent a thank you email last week and still nothing. Guess it wasn't to be... The school work I've let it pile up some need to finish a homework for next monday and the bonus will be a nice challenge to do, need to write an HTML Cruncher. It should take in an HTML document and parse removing tabs, newlines, carriage returns and unnecessary spaces while keeping the HTML functional. Thinking of using perl for this or maybe even JavaScript :-S, that's what the professor has been using to explain some parsing techniques. At least up to now the course I'm taking is interesting Web Mining, how to maximize content to get the top spots on search engines.

So I was on vacation last week, couldn't take more time since I'm back in school :-(. Went to Venezuela and it was great! Meet a new girl I've been chatting with over the net :-D, she's super cool! And Caracas is quite something even with all the problems and insecurities that fly around the country. Heck check the pictures out, plus you'll find some older pictures.

Shit I lost what I was typing since my parents wanted some help with the Banco Popular accounts they've got. Well see ya all soon!

WOOHOO grad school and GH3

Last night before my training class started an official from the Poly University called telling me that this Saturday is the orientation. WOOHOO, going back to school :-D. If you see me slacking at all slap me, I need to finish this time :-P. So waiting for another call today to see when I can go for the orientation, since I can't miss any of the training the company is paying for us.

I feel kinda sick, since starting this training I've been reading a lot about WPF. :-S, hehe it seems a cool technology can do a lot of things with it and one thing that is very attractive is you won't need two sets of code to have a client UI and a web UI. But more as I start using it more or finish the book I'm reading. Can't wait to get a new laptop, it's been rumored that a new MacBook update might be release this November. With parallels I should be set to keep going with WPF.

And yes, GH3. It's a fucking awesome game, last night errr this morning :-P played a couple of online games. Pretty much undefeated except that one match that I selected hard mode instead of medium, :-S. Gelo we need to find a away to add each others friend code, maybe even have some voice chat program or something. Give me a call, when you get a chance. And if anyone found this and wants to play some GH3, drop me a message!

Time to rant off a bit

So, after waiting for how long I don't even remember anymore. Google add IMAP to gmail. And guess what... My account doesn't have it, fucking great...

Ever since they introduced the POP mail service I was cool, but meant I wanted to keep my email online. In case I'm away from a computer of mine and I didn't want to download any email to others computers. Now they have given the service and I don't have it. Fucking great, hope someone at google might read this and help out. But chance of that is non existent.

Oh, been 2 days at work trying to install the freaking .net 3.0 sdk and that thing sucks. Haven't had any luck and the thing just takes forever...

So, after months of bullshitting about going back to school and get a masters degree. Well today I finally left the papers for admission to the Poly's CS program. Should be a week before they let me know, now I need to go thru this program and get the degree. :-)

On a similar subject, here at the company they have started to give us .Net training towards one of there many certifications. :-S and I accepted it... Everyday when I see myself in the mirror I think I'm going paler by the day. Sold my soul to the devil, jejeje! It's been fun actually, going over the concepts of OOP been so much time since I've done stuff like that. But this comes at a price, if I leave before a year now I'll have to pay the company for that training. :-S So I'll be staying put for some time to actually take the training, since they are been taught here at work.

Ok, this will sound like another fanboyish post. But if it weren't for iTunes I wouldn't have taken another interest into this. So basically I'm back at school but this time around not getting any credit for it, no problem there that way I can actually learn and not worry about a grade. At first I headed to MIT, what they have is basically this OCW if you haven't heard about this well here you go. You can take any course they have posted there, all the lecture notes quizzes, tests, video or audio of the class. I heard about this a couple of years ago, maybe 2004 I believe. But never got really interested even tho there a lots of subjects to actually browse thru and get information.

Sure, you can most likely get all this information from elsewhere by other people who do primarily the same thing. Write about technology and current trends, wish is what a lot or most people look for, right? Anyways this gives another perspective on the same subject and in a more debatable environment, no? At the moment I'm going over a course in open source development and all that is involved in it. So if you are thinking is it about using CVS, or Perl, or the technologies of open source you are dead wrong. Like another course I finished listening to yesterday IDS 110 or Introduction to Computers from UC Berkeley. And WOW, let me tell you go ahead and download the course on iTunes easier to find or later I'll look for a link to download the podcast without iTunes.

I'd like to invite anyone if they want to recommend a course from somewhere there and we could start chatting about the subject, either computers or any other subject you find interesting. Hoping this podcasts I've downloaded help me into getting back to school, which I should have the application ready this week and delivered still need the transcript. Maybe taking a day off and going to Mayaguez to do that, need to check on that today. :-S

Best practices for Web developers

I read /. (slashdot.org) every morning to keep up with technologies. It's good and bad you get to read all sorts of bs and crap comments sometimes, but it's actually good to keep up to date with new trends and find interesting articules. Take this one for example, Hugo you could try to read this for a moment and see if it can help some with your project. I like to think this way with every project I think off and like to work or would like to work.

It's always good to apply some of the ideas stated in the article, always remembering that we need to apply those that help depending on the project you are gonna be working on. And look for new ones if you have to!

I save this one to type more or even organize my thoughts better, who am I kidding. I'm still a bit lazy and all I want to do is eat dinner and play some video games. I reserved my copy of Guitar Hero today, woot! Yes geek times for me soon, but fuck it gonna enjoy it!

Guitar Hero

So, I've heard about this game but never played it. Until today, was at an aunts house for lunch with the family and my cousins where playing this game. So I ask for a turn and got it, damn it's a pretty cool game... Looked if it's coming to the Wii, october 29 can't get here fast enough. Guitar hero 3 is coming out that day and I plan on buying it (Gelo you better get it or at least a guitar) then we can do a Guitar Hero night with Hugo and all those people missing out on the Wii. :-P

Also I'm gonna be playing Metroid Prime trilogy in order, been a couple of years since I played the first and never played the second. So I'm gonna be revisiting Prime and play the second for the first time before I get into Corruptions. Think I'm going back to the console gaming now after like 4 years of playing PC games.

PS. I've cancelled my WoW account, expires on the 4th of October. Countdown starting!

So yes, I'll keep this super simple. iPhone like iPod called iPod touch, will buy one as soon as I check my finance and see if I can make the purchase. The down side I guess is that only an 8gb or 16gb storage compared to the 80gb or 160gb from the iPod classic (new name). But the iPod touch has safari and you can use google and yahoo with it and comes with WiFi. I think I have a hard-on right now, yes my true colors are showing. Need to get a hold of myself and hide all that, ;-)

Well, I've been reviewing my HTML, CSS and JavaScript since I want to start doing some developing. I know I know that this technologies aren't developer technologies but are a good starting point for what I want to do at the moment. Looking at Adobe AIR and while I've been reading the documentation regarding AIR I've been feeling a bit lost trying to accomplish a few things. So I went back a few steps just to remember some stuff and hoping that it helps with learning AIR.

I'm really liking the idea behind Adobe AIR, creating an online application that can work offline too. Pretty sure you can do that right now but I think it would take some time to actually develop everything that is needed to accomplish such work. Why not let others do it for you?! Hehehe!!!

Would you believe me if I tell you that people take video games a bit to seriously? As most of you all ready know I've been playing World of Warcraft since November 23, 2004. Almost 3 years now and let me tell you it's been a blast, I've met so many people (err, so many pixels that can think) that it has been nice. But lately, meaning about this current year, the guild or group of people I've been playing with for the last 2 years have been having some drama issues between them. Thank God I stopped raiding, meaning spending most nights in front of my computer doing nothing but hitting a series of keyboard keys and moving the mouse. And it still amazes me how people can be such dicks toward each other over a pixel world.

Recently about a month or a bit more back we started playing on another server from the main server we've been gaming for months. It was something to just relax, have fun and remember that it's all a game. Boy were we wrong! I didn't get online until sunday night to find that drama had found it's way into our little experiment. To cut a lot of BS that none of you might understand or will understand, yes, it's coming to an end for me playing WoW. My first and probably only MMO I'll play, unless I really get more free time to waste it on a game. Gonna suck when I stop playing it's a cool game, think you all should give the free 14 days trial a chance.

Talking about free time, I think it's getting to be shorter and shorter. Gelo, you got any tips for handling women from Guayama? Starting to go out with a girl from there I met over the net. Been having fun lately, we'll see how that goes... Also I need to send my application to the Poly still, I really want to go back to school. Ever since I talk with the director of that program I've been reading a little bit of Knowledge Discovery and looking forward to going back to classes.

anyways too much rambling right now, should post soon about doing some "turismo interno". Maybe even finding a good restaurant to visit some place in the island.

Expenses and more of them

So yeah, I've been trying to save some money and all that for a few plans I've got. But yeah right I'm doing such thing, went to the mall with my mom on Saturday passed by the Bose store to check on maintenance for my QuietComfort 2 and well. Saw the speakers I've been wanting for a few years now and they were on sale and well... They are fucking awesome! I haven't heard anything quite like it in some time now.

So other than that everything is good for the moment, need to make an appointment to see the Department Head of the CS program at the Polytenic University here in PR. Thinking of going back to school and that is one of my choices, think I might apply there since it's something different than R.U.M. and I wouldn't have to spend much money in apartment and gasoline. But I first need some questions answered before heading out to a university. Need to review the deadline dates for both places and start doing the applications and finding a professor to sponsor me on one of his research.

Anyways, just a quick update on what's going on. Hope to write a bit more often!

Holy crap

Well two things, either I ignored pretty good this blog or I did really distracted myself this past few weeks. Going with the first choice, really nothing much going on. Except reading the last book in the Harry Potter serires and let me you, it's great! A few things here and there that I thought were a bit rushed up or not explained better or easier for that matter. But still it's a good read and she keeps you holding the book chapter by chapter.

Other than that, spent a weekend in Philly with my brother and family. God my niece is so big!

Anyways, probably more to come as I started heading out again or just decide to write nonsense here...

Well! been not writing here lately, doing other stuff. Mainly playing a little too much Warcraft from what I'd like to play, but it's been fun playing a few minutes here and there. Just talking with old friends I've met in the game and such, and just running around wasting time. :-P

Hoping to see the Transformers when it's released tomorrow, should be pretty good or at least the people that made it happen indicates that it'll be good. I mean it's Michael Bay and I think Spielberg is involved too. Maybe I'll go see Die Hard tonight, kinda wanna go to the movies. Weird I might add!

Also the most important thing happening this month, going on the 12th to Philly to see my niece. I guess seeing my brother and sister-in-law is important too, but nothing more important then seeing Lydia. She looks to be big all ready since I last saw her in December, and looking forward to following her around since she is crawling and probably walking some all ready.

Internet Radio

Yep, Internet Radio is probably gonna go down the drain. The US Congress is trying to get more money off the broadcasters, I haven't followed completely the whole deal and what's going on. If you wish to know more just type "Day of Silence On the Internet" in google, you'll find all you can there. Now back to the topic before I really take another route.

If you haven't been to Pandora visit it, it's an awesome project. Look for a song or artist and let service play the rest of the music, you'll be amazed with the new artists you'll discover that you would never listen to. I heard of this project a couple of months back and today I was reminded about it. Received an email from them reminding me a Red Hot Chilli Peppers station I created.

Well, I hadn't posted anything lately and felt like wasting some time. Now back to work!

What will mean being a Human?

So, browsing around reading a bit before starting to do my things at work I find this article. WOW just WOW, creating artificial life? What will it mean to be a Human? Will races bind together, no more asian, american, european, african, etc etc? Will it be Human vs whatever we decide to create, the future wars, competition, whatever else you think off?

I think this is just great there will be good things that will come out of this type of research and development. But like all good things there are bad things that will come with it. Guess time will teach us how to understand this new things that are being created every day.

Anyways, wanted to write about something since I haven't written in some days.

Guanica's Dry Forest

Damn was it dry, was a cool hike even though we just did probably 1/10th of the place. This time I didn't go alone went with Carlo and Meyla, funny story actually. They needed a cooler, one of the small ones you take to the beach or any get together and anyones home with stuff. So we stopped at WalMart in Coamo or Santa Isabel, the cooler went for the ride. we forgot to buy the ice and water since that was one of the main reasons to buy it. lol

We went to the forest on the 334 road got to the parking area and started to walk from there. First we see the picnic area, nice place to go and have some fun and grill for a few hours. Then we get to see a small building has a very small museum and a nice view of the bay or the area looking towards the beach. After I see that I get excited to find a good spot to see that view again with no trees or less trees in front of me. Well didn't take many pictures as you will see when I upload them, didn't get to see that view I was hoping for. Well not on the trails we went on, hoping that the other trails have better views which I'm thinking of going back there some what soon.

Saturday 16th of June hiking trip

Well, this coming Saturday is going to be Guanica Dry Forrest hiking trip. At least for now is good for a go. If you wish to join me, let me know post here, email me or even call me. All you need to take with you is plenty of water or favorite beverage, some snacks and anything else you can carry and think is necessary. Also remember to buy your fathers gift prior to Saturday, should you need to buy it on that day well I guess you're going shopping. After we are done there maybe we will go to la Parguera for a quick visit to buy some Sangria Coño.

Forrest opens from 8am till 5pm, tried to find a map of the forrest with the trails and all. But no luck on with that, guess I'll try later in the week but for now looks like we'll show up at the parking area and find the first trail map and follow it. Should be fun!

So, lately it's has been my choice of drink. A good Johnny Walker on the rocks, finally getting used to it. But a good Jack Daniels and diet coke or regular coke for that matter also hits a good spot.

Heineken Jazz Fest

WOW, for a first time listener it was great going to the Jazz Fest. At least got the chance to see and listen Arturo Sandoval and it was great. Granted I don't know much of the Latin Jazz genre but none the less it brought me to look for more music in that genre. Know of any other artists let me know the names to look for their music and give it a listen.

For next year the plan is going on Saturday to see a Big Band, at least is what my friend Joe is recommending. Oh yeah, opps... I went with my friend Jose Rafael or Joe to the Jazz Fest, was cool to go with him since he is the one that has given me some Humberto Ramirez to start my education in that genre. We need to find more Latin Jazz stuff Joe.

Well, this week is looking to be more tranquil at least for now. But always open for invitations, suggestions. This Saturday still undecided if I'm going to "El Bosque Seco de Guanica" or to an event mom told me about in San Juan. Something with chefs and lots to eats. Will be looking into it and post here.

Got to say that even going alone the trip was well worth the time and effort, I haven't done any type of exercise like this in years. Need to say no casualties happened except my shoes, they broke piece by piece look at the last picture in the album I posted. Other than that my toe got hit but not much blood came out. Going up there was great got to see some scenery that you don't see down where we actually live at, would have been better if it were a clearer day. I had some clouds with me all the way to the top! Kinda like when I went to Mt. Fuji, got to the summit and a huge cloud was with us.

Will be doing this again, so check out when I post my next trip or call me and lets setup a day to go. There are also many other trails I want to visit.

Anyways too tired to keep writing here may post something else during the week or just ask if you have a question.

Bueno, ya fueron mas de unos 15 años mas o menos desde la ultima vez que alguna fiesta patronal y mas especifico las de Carolina. Fuimos a ver al Gran Combo de Puerto Rico y que buen show hicieron, lo que me falta ahora es aprender a bailar la salsa para disfrutarlo mas.

Que mucho jodieron en la oficina con que tuviera cuidado, se que hoy dia esas fiestas tienen mas problemas que cosas buenas. Pero todo anduvo super bien y tranquilo! Mucho recuerdos de esa area de Carolina ya que fue por donde estudia, 9 años han pasado desde que me fui de alli. Pero wow que cambio ha dado esa area y que mucho recuerdos me trajo!

La pase super bien en buena compañia y fue algo totalmente diferente. Algo que buscaba, recuerden este sabado el Yunque. Buscando ruta que lleve al punto mas alto accesible, si quieren ir me dejan saber.

Exploration time

So last Saturday I finished my Japanese course which means I'm Saturdays from now on, well unless I decide to take another course. But maybe not now... or better if they are during the week.

Anyways will be starting to put into motion my plans to start visiting places throughout the island. If you wish to do the same give me a call and lets plan it out. My first stop will be "El Yunque", this Saturday from 9-10 ish AM till I find my way back to the car. Sunday still open maybe going to Ponce again with mom, not sure.

If any of you wants to start visiting the island let me know, tons of places to actually go. Or if you know of a site to find out information about a particular place(s) let me know the address. To find out anything I can or plan when we could go to that place.

A few eeks back I posted on Quotes, well thru gmails news headline I found those quotes. As well some interesting articles and not so interesting. Quite good to tell you the thru, well from a person that never took a course in psychology. Maybe I should send this article to some of my friends that are to get their perspectives on this. But I found it good none the less!

Article goes on to say how people change when they view their life on a 3rd person perspective and not the 1st person. And how this has help them cope with life easier, how more social they are. Going to give this a try, gonna see more of my life from a 3rd person perspective and see how I cope with what has happened. WOW, I feel better after reading this...

Been some time since I've cried or complained about something. Well been kinda busy this past week. Since mom is in Philly visiting my brother and his family, I've been taking care of dad. Been a nurse, cook, cleaning person, yard keeper, a little of everything I've been doing around the house. Been a long time since I've done anything here at home.

Kinda sad I think, with this I've been thinking "Have I been such a prick at home?". Because all I've thought is what to do once mom gets back going out, getting home late, anything to keep me off coming to my room. Sometime I still get annoyed when my parents ask for help or ask me to help them. WOW, kinda sad all this even while I read this I feel bad about being this prick I think I've become.

But with all I've been doing I think or believe I've started to change a bit. Lets see how thing go from now on...

Lately I've found myself bs'ing more than I should! I have great dreams and I do nothing to make them come true. I tell myself step back let your feelings and thoughts settle down. Yet I can't seem to want to do that, I want to accomplish something yet I sit down in front of a computer and travel to a virtual world where I find myself accomplishing things there. What's different between the virtual world and the real world? The both consume time to get things done...

This virtual world I play at it's called Azeroth and Outlands, the game Wolrd of Warcraft, and I go around killing virtual things for gold, items needed as proof, killing other people in the game to get points. And all for what a weapon to aid me in killing faster, or be alive a bit longer, what's the point of this...

I want to change my feelings toward her, but I just can't find myself able to. I talked with her she understands, but do I understand myself? Has been single for 2 years made me not give up on the first sign of finding a relationship. Could I be this vulnerable, scared?

I do know one thing, I've found that I can express myself through this blog. Should I just not write about my feelings like I've had been doing? Or should I find a more prettier way of writing them? Maybe just keep all I have to think about and not let anyone know what's going on and work things out. Or write them in a place no one can find them and read them, would that help me more? am I still in the same cup of water drowning myself?

El concierto estuvo super brutal! Al menos un artista menos que tengo que ver en concierto ahora, solo me falta Red Hot Chilli Peppers vengan y U2. Aunque U2 lo que tiene ahora es una senda porqueria y bueno RHCP no tienen gran cosa. Y prefiero los trabajos viejos de ellos cuando mezclaban mas con funk y no el rock de hoy dia. Pero que se puede hacer, es algo bastante bueno y chevere para escuchar.

Jajaja, hablando de otras bandas y no del concierto de anoche. Bueno nos sentamos en general en el area mas vacia que encontramos. Ya que solo fuimos por escuchar la musica y la verdad que el tipo esta pasao. Tiro un repertorio super chevere aunque si hubiese tocado mas musica de Bocanada hubiese sido mejor. Pero que va ser eso, ya tour paso!

En fin la noche estuvo buena, pero pudo haber sido mejor...

Woohoo, finally a concert

Well at last I go to my first concert here in Puerto Rico. Even tho this is the second time Cerati comes here in the same tour, hope is good! Going with Carlo and we will be helping to change light bulbs up in the roof. I really don't care to sit close to see him just want to listen to the music and how good he is live. Hope is worth the $35 I'm going to spend!

Hmmm... been thinking this past few days about my last 2 weeks. Even if things were going too fast all we needed was to slow down things. Something very easy to do, but if you need to figure out your thoughts and feelings you need the time to do so.

I hope you can figure out what you need, whether it's today tomorrow next week next month when ever. I'll be here waiting! And you'll have to see what's going on. While you figure your life out I'll be out there being me, looking at what life is putting me thru. At first I misjudged you, kinda didn't want to see or hear from you in sometime. But it was good we talked yesterday and could clear up somethings, it has made me feel better and giving me a better understanding of life and what it's to be a grown up.

Lets not stop talking, I enjoy talking with you and hanging out with you. Like you said somewhere, in a short time you became what I was looking for. And this is probably the time that we need to start taking things slower and spent time apart from each other.

Still at the hospital... not anymore

Dad is still at the hospital, damn hemoglobin hasn't gone up to a good level yet. :-(

Has me worried that he still is in the hospital and that I could have a similar problem, I even went as far and told my brother to actually check his hemoglobin levels as I have to do the same. Anyone knows of a good doctor to visit, looking for one...

On a different subject I'm so fucking sleepy today, every time I sit in front of my pewter I just fall asleep. Damn waking up at 5:15am everyday this past week.

Anyways, back to work... i mean sleep...

Well, in a few hours I'll be 27! Yes shortly after 1pm, this is looking to be a good birthday.

Dad is in the hospital, had a full replacement knee procedure done yesterday. He is doing good now and should be out tomorrow we hope. Only problem he has is low Hemoglobin and told him to work on that now. I'm going to do some tests for this too and work on it for me. Since I talked with an aunt of mine and she told me she has low Hemoglobin and my grandma had low Hemoglobin too. So I'm gonna go and check myself.

On another subject and a bit more happier, things are going good with my friend Sonia. We are both a bit scared on how things are going, but we'll just enjoy the time we spend together. Anyways, wanting to see her soon! just another hour or so for lunch.

So last night I can officially say I was on my first date in a couple of months. But comparing to the previous I had this one was much better. I had a good time and so did she, got a text message on the cell saying she did. Think I'm starting to get a crush on her, :-S.

Need to remember not to do that so fast, I usually get a crush on a girl a bit too early to find that it's just me feeling that way. But hoping not to do that, need to call up the other girls I've met and some that friends are trying to get me to know.

Well haven't thought out this post enough so I'll end it a bit fast. But one last thing, so before she went to bed she called me up I was in the computer checking on my finances and stuff. But my cell is in vibrate mode so I didn't get to hear and specially nice I had my headphones on. She then sent me a text message saying she had a good time. Thought of calling back but know she likes to go to bed early and I didn't want to talk anymore than I've all ready done. Was it ok just to do that or should've I call back? Gonna call her today anyways, but I don't want to be calling nor be talking way too much. I hate to see that I get bored with her, specially since I'm starting that crush I mentioned.

So last night was the first I was to meet, well either i was drunk all ready or she didn't understand me. I said where i was and understood halve of what I said. Well guess it wasn't meant to be, looking forward to Wednesday hoping to meet this other girl I meet online. Maybe I should stop this none sense of online and just work the courage when ever I see a girl I like to meet and hang out.

So I hope to stop bullshitting! Wow, do I talk a lot of crap...

I'm such a dreamer, have so many plans that I'd like to accomplish and not giving myself time to do them. I kinda want to make them now! I want to travel, as well as get a new place to live or the terrain so I can build later, want to study also, bah so many things I can't remember now. So making a list as of late of this things I wish to accomplish and work from that.

At least I've started one of the many things I wanted, started making changes in my appearance. Like operated my eyes so I don't use glasses any more, gonna try to get hair cut more often and keep my eyebrows in line. Yes people I, well the barber, fixed my eyebrow so now I have normal eyebrows. :-P

Anyways at work and before they shutdown blogger with this astaro thingie gonna make this post.

Well on my forth day without glasses and let me tell you, it was worth every penny. Still see a bit blurry or fuzzy sporadically but from what I've heard is normal takes about a week for the procedure to work wonders. :-)

Now I have to wait about a month before I can go to the pool or beach and do any kind of sport or contact sport. Now I need to get me a pair of sunglasses and I'm set.

This is out of no where, been thinking a lot during the day what's up with me. And I can't actually figure it out! I'm looking or wanting for a big change in my life the problem is I can't figure out what to do. Thought of getting a place for myself could help and it's probably the safest thing to do with my current situation.

But I'm wanting to do a bigger change than that, maybe go to another country and stay there and find a decent job and shit hole to live in. Maybe go to the states and try my luck there. Or even stay here but change my current job, thought of getting certified as a bartender and change jobs. Or look at short education things and just completely change jobs.

Well I made my appointment for Monday, since they called and told me they had room for me. Very excited to take off my glasses permanently, well I hope it's permanently or until I'm 60 something. Please remind me tomorrow to pick up some drops I need to start using from Thursday on some pills for after the procedure is done.

Gonna try to take a few pictures with my glasses on so I can have some good memories off them!

My car

So I get to my car on friday and I see that the "Si" letter that were on the trunk aren't there. :-( yep my car got vadalized, not much but it happened. Makes sad how someone has to steal from others so just they can get what they want, just hope that what they wants gets them soon enough.

Granted I parked in a not so good area on friday, guess I didn't think clearly when I got to work. They are doing some major remodeling work in the buidling I work in, that even the parking lot is being reworked. Parked behind a lot of buses and such, guess I learned not to do that again.

Well went to my doctors apointment to get rid of my glasses, had to get some drops in my eyes that made my pupils big. Kinda look like the cat in shrek2... hehe!

nothing new really, well except that finally finished upgrading my G5 and it works great. looks like it's a new computer, kinda saving $2000 :-D So I have tomorrow off too, hope my vision is better. Wanting to play some WoW...

Before I forget, so i was told to go accompanied to the doctors because of the drops. They make you see blurry up to like a foot, but so blurry is funny and my eyes feel heavy. As i type this all i see are blurry letters...

Well gonna call it for now, have a few things I'd like to share but those will wait till I better vision so that I don't strain my current one.

Me not writing anything for a couple of days on here. So I got the computer parts I ordered from www.memorytogo.com, problem was that an item I ordered was in back order. But they got it on wednesday and sent it that day.

Computer(s) update

So i took my PC to work, the IT guy was helping me with the problems I've been having. I guess my older hard drive is failing or something, tried another HD i had with a newer M$ installation and guess what. I had no crashes in about 2 hours... Guessing it's something at the house maybe a peripheral I have installed or the electricity that could be the problem. So when I got home put the computer together and gave it another try no problems also for like 30 minutes. So i guess my PC has some chance now, guessing it felt the pressure from my G5. Bought a new HD for it and 2 GB of RAM for it, now to look for infomartion on how to do that stuff for macs. But mainly how to transfer data from one HD to the new HD, dont want to install all over and lose some settings and data.

Edit: I should've posted this when I first started writing it, it was late and I was tired. Now that I read it over I'm still keeping what I wrote originally except a typo... So I'm getting on the 21st new memory for my G5 and powerbook, looking forward on getting those so that I can check if I get some more performance out of this computers. As for my PC guess I'll be using it for a few more months but most likely will sell it to a friend. That thing make way too much noise!

Well hope something more interesting happens, finally started ediditing some videos I had put off. Retouching my brothres video and started Hugo's finally. Can't wait till to night to see how it goes with the new memory.

Movies, looks to be a good year for them

So, I don't really go to the movies but last night was an exception. Went to see Ghost Rider and I have to say WOW, it was pretty good. I was glad to even go to the movies, that's good since I rarely like many of the movies coming out from Hollywood. Looking forward to a few movies coming out this year, and that include movies other then Harry Potter. :-)

So I missed my appoipment for today, had to call on monday to confirm it and didn't. Man that sucks, I really want to get my eyes fixed. no glasses soon!

Oh yeah weekend of May 28th weekend cruise, write it down if you are interested. Also March we'll be going to Culebra and probably again in July, this last two need a bit of more planning.

Well wanted to write more but getting late for work and need to call my uncle to pay for my car insurance.

Viruses and worms, what going on in Cyberspace?

Well, this is the second or thrid day now that our network is still down until they can clean what ever virus or worm got in the network. Thank God that've been on my PowerBook this week using it at work and while they are all running anti-virus and norton patches, here I am posting and traveling the net. Oh do I love my Macs, well corssing my fingers that the virus or worm isn't too smart to infect OSX.

Anyways, has your company been infected by this at all?

Another funny thing is how many viruses were on some of the machines here at work. The leading computer has about 140 viruses in it, hehe safe work environment eh?

Well not much rabling about here today, still trying to come up with a good post. But that'll never happen, also if you got here from my post on the Tribe forums welcome. Post whatever comment you feel like, remember I have the power to delete it ;-)

My PC

So I believe that my PC has a ghost in it! I did use my PC, well mostly to play WoW, for about 5 - 6 ,months without a problem what so ever. Then all of a sudden it starts to crash the system, gave it to one of my friends who is doing a lot of IT work to check it out. I explain what I'm doing when the system decides to crash, he tries it and nothing everything seems to be fine when he used my PC. I went to pick it up and set it up when I had a chance. Reinstalling the game because somehow the installation of WoW got corrupted, so I'm re-installing the game and half way thru the installation crash. Well that sucks I said, I was browsing for some information when that crash happened. System came back up so I tried to install the game again and this time only that was the only thing the computer was doing, successful installation I might add.

Fire up the game and while it's finishing to load the game I press 'esc' to bring up a game main menu, guess what happened. System came back did the same thing same result, I thought it was the NerfudUI mod I like to use that was crashing the system disable it and again system crashed while in the middle of a fight. Well thought I was dead but I guess I had some luck and wasn't when I logged back in. So I go and find a safe spot to check my settings and all that, well after turning all the video settings to high I see that the game is quite beautiful and I'm in awe. So looking around the area I was in, yet another crash, I saw that the grass in the game when I rotated the camera disappeared. I'm like wtf and again another crash, by this time I got the hint and shot down my PC.

I was able to interrupt the encounter my hammer was about to have with my PC. It's so frustrating that I've even thought of getting a new PC, but I can't since I need the money for an apartment. Maybe upgrade something or just quit the game for sometime!
Well I'll be trying to put my computer in a better place to see what happens, gonna try my 40" lcd tv!

Friday Nights

So, this friday started thinking what to do. Movie, Dinner, Pubs, Discos, so many things to do off the computer which is where I work at. What do I end up doing getting home and play World of Warcraft, it isn't the norm but as I think about it looks like I've spent more fridays in front of the computer than partying. Which I'd say is a bit sad for a single guy.

When I fo something on fridays most of the time is to go out for dinner, which it isn't bad but come on. Friday's are night to just vent all the frustration from work that week over a couple of beers. Well for that to happen gonna need to find new co-workers or something, my current ones like to work until 8pm or more and they mostly have their own plans. Gelo I envy you for being able to get to the first "chinchorro" with your buddies and drink up on fridays. Next fridays drink a beer in my name, "For Monchichi and his grind torwards 70 in WoW".

Guess I should consider changing jobs, not only cause of this but to progress professionally.

Wow, took me two days to write this edited a little bit and changed it. Plus getting too many other ideas on what to post but will leave those for another post more suited, wanted to complain about this past firday. WOW what a whiny little bitch :-P

Rincon 2007, wow just wow

So our annual reunion was a blast! It was good to see some friends you don't see as often as others and also it was good to relax a weekend for a change. Well not so much relax but spend some time at the beach.

Hehehe, well Gelo! I guess since we all are quite apart hang outs are somewhat different. I felt the same way when I got together with my friends from high school. And I can see what you say about our group not liking to drink as much as others. Big Joe has been teasing me to I should get drunk more often to see if I can stop being "tan pendejo" as I am sober. But hey, we have to do what we want to do. Don't feel bad about what you felt, cabron hijo e puta! Hehehe

I thought I could write more about the weekend, I guess I like shorter blog entries. Two days writing this and nothing more I'm coming up with to write. What we did you ask? Well, we bought the food and beers around noon setup everything before most people got there. People started showing up, toss the football, played some volleyball, went swiming. More and more people arrived and more and more beers were drank. Then I switched to Black Label, which I drank most of the bottle. :-S But my dad told I drank it wrong, you don't mix Black Label with anything so I need to work on that for next time. So during all this jokes were being told, remembering what happen some 7 years ago. Guess it tends to get boring telling the same story every year. We started or even better we tried to sing some "parrandas", we failed miserably, no one knew a complete song nor a "bomba" even Elias "bomba" wasn't as funny.

Anyways starting to ramble a little bit just to make this post longer, so what can we do fix this party if it needs something new. New people to be added to the group or we all start traveling somewhere to get new stories. I've been thinking of taking some vacation time, maybe go to Philly and visit my niece and take a few days and go snowboaring in Colorado Springs. Heard good things about that area, and me snowboarding is more like falling everytime and breaking a bone. :-P

Anyways, getting need to go to work. Angel will try to post more often. but if you think that writing about work and maybe WoW is interesting well. I won't be posting. Gelo you got any pictures froim saturday, gonna post them in picasa if you can send them to me. Also started working on Hugo's wedding again, I just want to delete that looks horrible.

OK, been wanting to post for some time but lazy as I am (shut up fuckers, ;-) you know who you all are ). Well first and for most, I have a new reader so she'll be kept anonymous. Anyways I'm trying to buy a new kidney's for the weekend and they need to be plastic, if you got any drop a post here. :-P

So, yearly reunion at Rincon it's gonna be great. Although this year we'll be the least single persons there. Many are going with their significant other, so Gelo we got problems, actually don't think so! Typing this at work so trying to look as if I'm actually working, but I regularly don't type anything here. I'll probably be getting busted soon.

Oh yeah, now I remember. Last Saturday got together with old high school friends, and oh my god was it a blast. Can't wait to see them again, although having the same problem. I'm kinda the only single person in that group too.

So finally got a chance to see Paul van Dyk in Puerto Rico, guess third time is the charm :-D. It was awesome, really worth all the hassle that was to get in to the party. Some of the most pumped up trance i've heard him play, at least comparing to his cds, played from around 1am-ish till 3:30am or so. All the lights at the place were on and he still kept on playing, guess they had to shot down the electricity to get him to leave. But there was a bit of technical problems during his play time, whatever it was, there was about 2 minutes of no music what so ever. So boo's, chants and applauses started to roar for music to get back on.

I could talk about the other acts, but lets be honest, i wasn't there for any of them. Didn't see La Secta, since I got there late, and Wisin y Yandel not fans of them but guess it was all right.

About the girls, well all I can say is oh my god, you had to be there to believe it no words can explain it.

Fucking cousins

I'm so fucking pissed at this moment, after the baptism of my niece my damn cousins came to my room to play. Heading to bed and got close to the tv, guess what I find. 4 fucking scratches on my new lcd tv, not even 2 month old. Got to check what I can do about it and charge my aunt for it. Man so much fucking rage going on at this moment, hope that warranty covers this or that the compusa warranty helps.

Well, two weeks have passed and not one post in all that time. Hope you were wondering what I was up to, yeah even though I said I was going to Uruguay to work you still have to have some fun. But fun was little had to work a lot to finish the module I'm currently working at, but time wasn't on our side so we progressed some but not what we wanted or hoped. Finally got to meet some friends that I've only had contact with them over the phone so now I can put faces with voices.

About the trip, it was a blast the flight sucks but other than that it was a lot fun this past two weeks. I finally got to fly in the Boieng 777, it's so fucking impresive can't wait to see the new airbus plane. Back to the trip, ate so much meat over there that I don't want to eat anymore here. The cuts are so different and so much better there than here. I mean, go to Ruth Chris Steak House in Isla Verde and you can compare the cuts of meat. But with one huge difference, here you pay about $20 for a good piece of meat down there expect to pay $14 for the best piece of meat. It's something unbelievable!!! Oh and yes, I ate a lot think I gained about 8 lbs or so... :-S

Got a chance to see Montevideo's Night Life, well only once but it was cool. It's "La Noche de la Nostalgia" they say that when you go out that night you can bump in to your parents, and let me you it could happen. Everyone goes out that night, even the 60+ crowd. The first bar we actually went in that one the first sight was a 50 something lady dancing. Needless to say had my complementary drink and we were out of there. Anyways, imagine "Las Fiestas de la Calle" or "Las Justas" but not much security and cars can travel normally around "Ciudad Vieja" which it was the area we went to.

Well, other than work and that night not much happened. Had a good beer over there called "Zillertal", it's like a Heineken but not as stronger nor bitter. Pretty good actually! The other two I had won't even talk about them, they suck :P

Too much I could talk about but I won't here. Not feeling like wrtiting this much...

So, Monday I leave for Uruguay

So it's true, I'm going to Uruguay on Monday. Leave at 5pm and get to Montevideo at noon on tuesday, something weird I guess. It's about a 12 hours flight from Miami to Argentina, then we fly to Uruguay. Also, finally getting on a Boeing 777. Always wanted to fly in one of those ever since I saw the Discory Channel special when it was built.

I hope that this alert at airports drop a bit, I want to take some Don Q with me to give a few bottles to some friends. But it's not looking too promising! :*( At least I'll be able to take my IPod and laptop asa carrying on, :-)

Hoping I'll be able to spot while I'm down there, keep visiting to keep up with what is going on.

Traveling, I hope

Well, there is a good chance I'll be traveling to Uruguay to work there for 2 weeks. It's not a 100% sure still but at least I was asked if I had a passport and my availability to travel. And like most of you know, no attachments and my passport is good.

Moving, Apartments and my Niece

So visiting my brothers family in Philadelphia and while going out to the store, shopping, driving around with my family. And what I've been thinking about is moving again, still don't know why I'm getting this thoughts. Maybe it's just that I want to be living alone or that I want to be living in another state, country. Anyone ever had thoughts like this? Could this be normal or near normal?

So I guess that if living alone is what I want, the next step is to find me an apartment and go with that. Mentioned this a few months back, but still fighting the idea of an apartment or beach apartment. Anyone have recommendations! For an apartment looking for Cupey, Guaynabo, San Juan area. For a beach apartment looking at the southern area, anything at the Caribbean sea. Hoping to have a place for the end of the year or so.

Well one last mention on my post before signing off, my niece is cute that is hard to find a cutter baby out there. Hehehe, had to say that!

All I can say after seeing her for the first time is, wow just wow. She is so beautiful! It was awesome to carry her for the first time. Well too much I'd like to say but can't find words at the moment or not making much sense of what I'm saying. Will try to post more frequently and better thought out posts. Well maybe not that frequently but will try to keep a journal then do a big post or divide it in a few posts.

All right, a geek post but this fucking awesome. A friend of mine told me about this YouOS that runs on a web broswer. Well actually no from the browser but something like that, a web interface of an OS. Pretty sweet I have to say!

Will be using this OS for some time to see how it goes. Other than this well weekend is here, another wedding tomorrow, going to be home alone from sunday till wednesday. And a whole lot of work. Be meaning to post and always too lazy to do so, so I'll stop this non-sence post right now.

Long time didn't write

Well I knew this would happen that I'd forget to write stuff here. Anyways just a few updates. First and most important mom will be getting the Gamma Knife treatment in Miami, hoping things will go good so she can be back to herself. Will be home alone for about a week, so party every night at the Jové house state.

Weddings this has been the year for weddings, up till right now been to 5 and missed 2 plus I have an invitation for another wedding around the 15th of this month. Although it kinda sucks that most of my friends are getting married, meaning that less hangout time at the same time I'm happy for all of them. But for the next wedding invitations I get will request that my table is with all the single women that attend. :)

So much crap going on at work, need to vent some of my frustation somewhere. Anyone else that works with software developement goes thru this much stuff?!

So much stuff I want to write about but either forgot or work not letting me write more. Hope I'll get posting more in the future.

Stupid mistakes and errors

Wow, been a few days since I last wrote anything here. This one will be short and sort of funny, well I hope.

So work has been kinda crazy lately, leaving work a bit later than usual. Today will be more memorable since I did a change needed to test a few things and make sure hey worked. About 2 hours later we finally found what was the problem, the change was one incorrectly and I screwed it up nicely. :P

The change that I needed to do was to add a parameter literally at the end, so I did just that. Well guess it wasn't to be literally at end it was to be at the end of the data needed. Hehehehe! God, I felt so bad after we found that out. And guess what the thing just works great now.

Anyways, not well thought out post just wanted to write something here and very hungry. So ttyl everbody!

My beach house (apartment)

So, I've been thinking a lot in getting a new place. And the first thing that has come up is to get my beach house or apartment. Been looking around here in PR and RD, found a few good prices in RD but since I've never been to RD not sure if it'll be worth investing there. Also, more expensive to get there but good reason to leave the country once in a while. Here in PR been looking at the Manati area, would be cool to find a good piece of land and just buy the house and plant it there. :)

Moment of clarity

So, been thinking a little bit too much lately. And I think I've found why I've been feeling odd lately, like I've been paying too much attetion to what others think of me. First time this has ever happened to me, I've never paed any attention to what others think of me. Is it normal to wonder what other think about me? Should I even let others opinion about me get me like this...

You guys will remember me with my nice helmet of hair and not caring what people thought. Think it's not the same anymore! For one, why would I feel bad when I go out with some of my friends? Is it because I'm single and most of my friends have girlfriends or wifes. Why should this make going out any different than if they were single?

But one thing I saw in myself this weekend is that I'm taking life way to seriously lately, also have been trying to plan my future way too much. One thing I learned two years ago was just that, to take life easy and live one day at a time.

If you didn't knew, I had an accident with my car. It wasn't too mucho but since the car is kinda new and parts had to be ordered. Should be getting it back around wednesdat at the latest, woot finaly been driving my dad suv starting to forget how to shift gears :P. One thing I knew and now can asure of not doing again, is having another car accident. Sucks a lot all this time I haven't had my car, 1) miss it a lot and 2) missing out on some good hang outs.

But, one thing is for sure. I hope that I can change a little bit, need to be more assertive in myself and let the time roll. Can't be thinking of what'll be like in the next few months.

Too much ranting about my personal life, guess I've wanted to get some of it off my chest.

Back to living, thinking of organizing a trip to the beach next saturday. For now the plan is to go to Luquillo then El Yunque, should be fun and I need to remember to send the email tomorrow. Also on payday it's gonna be Sushi night o maybe even kareoke night, so everyone is invited to go. Sushi will be at Canvas in San Juan, been wanting to go there since my birthday. Kareoke, no clue where so ideas welcome.

Random stuff

So bad things first, I hate to talk about this things. Not as important as the rest so I'll be quick, the Spurs lost, moving on.

So the doctors found a brain tumor in mom's head, but thank god the tumor isn't cancerous and hope is high about the surgery. I just want to get this done with since she has her first grandchild and has a lot to teach to Lydia.

On to the next bit of good news. So yeah, first time grandparents and first time uncle.
Lydia Viola Jové Kunst, 22 inches 9lbs and 2oz. She is so beautiful! From the pictures my brother has sent she looks to be awesome, all ready has an attitude. Will need to start my web site again so I can post pictures of her.

I think I plan things way too much, that could explain why I felt bad this weekend. I need to be more easy going and forget planning too much, a lot of things could've happen to my friend not answer her phone. Guess that being single has gotten to me more than I could think. Like people tell me, don't rush to things and I think in my head I sorta did this past weekend.

Wow, never thought I whined this much. Feel sorry for people the listens to me when I whine, kinda hating myself for doing it. Anyways back on subject weekend, what's going on, happening, etc? Wanting to go to the beach, any beach will do but if I haven't been to it better.

Hello everybody!

Thanks for stopping and taking some time to read, well to hear me whine some. If you have anything interesting to say just reply any post I make, I like to hear (err read) what others think on certain situations. Anyways, lest get to the first the post.

This weekend, thought I was gonna have a good weekend guess again. Had planned to meet up with a friend of mine, still don't understand what happened. She didn't return any of my calls on saturday, hope she is doing good still waiting to hear from her.

Is it bad to show up ealry and sorta suprise someone? Well I did that, showed up on Friday since we accorded on meeting up on Saturday. Got to the Poblado and called her up to know where she was, at least I got to see her for a bit, but then after that on Saturday no answer from her. Well no answer her yet, which is what makes me think what I did wrong?

Few question, Is showing up early good or bad? Was calling her a few times on Saturday bad, when is it few times too many?

Bah, guess I'll do what I thought and talked with some friends. Forget and move on, maybe it was not meant to be...

Well, this is but the start of my blog experience. I never thought I'd be writing stuff here, but thought about it and I hope this help vent some of my thoughts and help me not go crazy. The mind plays some aweful tricks on us sometimes.
